Salvatore Perry, 45, of Shelton, pleaded guilty in Bridgeport district court to one count of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of oxycodone in the area.
Between September 2017 and November last year, undercover law enforcement officers made five controlled purchases of 30mh oxycodone pills from Perry, selling between 30 and 60 pills each time.
U.S. Attorney John Durham said that Perry obtained the oxycodone from at least two others who had legitimate prescriptions for the drugs.
Perry was arrested on Dec. 4 last year, at which point, investigators seized oxycodone pills, and Perry’s cell phone, which Durham said contained evidence of the drug sales.
Durham said that Perry remains released on a $250,000 bond pending his sentencing on Jan. 22 next year. Perry will face up to 20 years in prison.
